Toward freedom - Qwaya

Qwaya and Bvoid's collaboration edition, 'Towards Freedom', is a ceramic-based incense chamber consisting of a lower part of the incence cone and a smoke-emitting device through the body. Smoke is emitted from the torch in the shape of the Statue of Liberty and can be used as an actual incense chamber.

'Towards freedom'

The Statue of Liberty was presented by France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of USA independence.

The official name of the statue, commonly called the Statue of Liberty, is "Liberty Enlightening the World," which is said to be the first thing that immigrants to New York City face in the harbor with the American Dream.

"Toward freedom" was made based on the objet I made after I went to New York on an impromptu basis when I was tired in many ways this year.

After visiting the city of New York, which symbolizes freedom, what my hands naturally created was the shape of the Statue of Liberty.

I hope that sometimes free moments will come to us who live under various rules. With the wish that everyone can get toward freedom.

- This work is designed with the intention of unspecified surface coloring, and the color representation details of each object are produced differently.

- Due to the nature of the tubular chamber, it is recommended to burn the incense cone sufficiently (1/3 or more), and the optimal air convection environment is created only when the body is heated sufficiently.

- If the smoke weakens, blow the air into the lower exhaust port on the back to discharge more smoke.
